Easter recipes (part 1)


Have you decided on the meals you are going to prepare this Easter? If you are still wondering we step in to offer you couple of delicious and simple recipes. How about some new and interesting ideas on how to prepare the traditional Easter lamb and surprise your family with a tasty grilled lamb on a skewer. Sounds yummy, right?

Grilled lamb on a skewer 


What you’ll need:

  •  Lamb – 1kg
  • Onion – 3 bulbs
  • Red wine – 1 tea cup
  • Garlic – 3-4 bulbs
  • Parsley – a bunch
  • Salt
  • Oil
  • Bay-leaves – 1

How to prepare it:

Slice the onion into rings; add the smashed garlic, chopped parsley and the wine. Slice the lamb meat into pieces and mix it with the seasoning. Add salt and leave it to rest for 2 hours in the marinade.
After 2 hours take out the meat, strain it off the wine and thread the meat onto skewers. Bake in oiled hot grill.
Serve with your favorite fresh salad! Enjoy!

Baked round of lamb

What you will need:

  • Round of lamb – 1,5kg
  • Garlic – 10 bulbs
  • Carrot – 1
  • Black pepper – 10 seeds
  • Salt
  • Paprika
  • Bacon – 100g

How to prepare it:

Clean the meat under running water and remove the skins. Take a sharp knife and make deep sections into the meat, and stuff them with garlic, a piece of carrot, little bit of bacon and pepper seeds.
Dust it with paprika and salt. Wrap it up in foil, place it in a tin and pour one cup of hot water in. Bake in hot oven.
When the meat is ready, remove the foil and bake until it gets crispy on the outside.
Again serve with your favorite fresh salad!
